Gut Feeling: With Arsenal travelling to a Charlton side in poor form an away win should be the only result.
As predicted Arsenal walked away with the three points, but to be honest, it was harder work than I'd expected.
What Arsenal Need: The Gunners need to control the midfield, tackle well and hold on to the ball.
Charlton battled well but Cesc roamed free and controlled the pace of the game with ease.
A gritty performance is required. The boys need to roll their sleeves up and graft for 90 minutes.
Going one nil down was a shock for the Gunners but they ground out a tough win.
Equally, they need to take a higher percentage of the chances they create.
Arsenal scored twice but had a hatful of chances they didn't take advantage of.
Things To Watch Out For: Arsenal need to build on their string of impressive performances.
Another victory away from home. Just what the doctor ordered.
Hopes For The Match: We need the Gunners defenders to finish the game unscathed. Any injuries would be disastrous.
It looks like everyone came through tired but healthy, which is the most important thing.
I'm hoping Baptista will get a good run out and look to establish himself in Wenger's first eleven. My thinking is that he will be looking to compete with Adebayor and Van Persie for the role of second striker.
Wenger only made one substitution in this game, which seems strange to me. Why not give two more players a run out at the end of the match? If nothing else they would be fresher and more able to defend. Either way, we didn't get to see Baptista strutting his stuff.
Prediction: Charlton 0 Arsenal 2
Score: Charlton 1 Arsenal 2
