Wenger Up For The Battle in Bolton

“We fancy going up there don’t worry. We are ready for the challenge and we will enjoy what we get.

We are more experienced than before and I feel we can get better. We lost a few games last year away from home where we were a little bit outmuscled.

But the players were younger then. Since then they have gone to the Champions League Final and it’s a different team now.

Away from home this year we have done well. Look at the two games we lost.

One was at Manchester City where we created plenty of chances and one at West Ham where, if you look at the game, it was very difficult to understand how we lost it.

Yes, Bolton have a more direct game than usual. But they have football players in their team as well, they want to play.

Overall I feel we are ready for what we face and we are going to dictate our game. At the moment they are not on a massive run so it’s maybe a good opportunity to go there.

Theo is getting closer and I understand people's desperation to see him start. But it's up to me to manage him well and at the moment he is making a good impact off the bench.

I must say I don't know whether I will start with Theo. It depends on what inspiration I get in Bolton before the game.”

It's good to hear that he's confident, but I hope the younger players stand up to be counted. If you're good enough, you're old enough, but then if you play poorly you can't blame your age.
