In particular he writes:
Meanwhile, I have to agree with the Doc from myarsenalfc.blogspot.com who insists that Palmer is wrong to write generalisations about kids from council estates. It even raises my hackles, that sort of stuff, and I’ve always thought I’m all for freedom of speech! However, I won’t boycott ANR. I go there for the football, not the social comments. I just ignore anything that’s not related to Arsenal if I can and somehow I think Palmer will be doing that too in future! |

I have to agree though, that a foul throw at this level of football is a skill we would presume should be carried out without too much thought but still be correctly performed. And I have no idea how the poor lad could conspire to do it twice in one match, the mind just boggles.
But some Arsenal players have done far more unprofessional things throughout the course of this season. Things that could have seriously impacted on team results. An example of this was the Gilberto sending off against Blackburn. I don't recall the Brazilian getting too much of a bashing after that incident. Most people said, "Oh, it was Robbie Savage who was kicking him and the Welshman deserved to be kicked!". Either way the World Cup Winner should have known better but we all stood by him.
Djourou knows he committed two schoolboy errors and he probably got it ripped out of him by his team mates. I for one like the player and would prefer him in the centre of defence than Gilberto!
